Troubleshooting/FAQs

Q: Can I manually override my leveling jacks?
A: Yes. Click here for Instructions  See video here

Q: How do I reset my zero point on my leveling system?
A: Click Here for Instructions  See video here

Q: How do I know if my hydraulic fluid needs to be filled?
A: To properly verify hydraulic reservoir level, ensure all hydraulic slides and leveling jacks are retracted.  Then observe reservoir level indication.

Q: What type of hydraulic fluid do I use?
A: See specification sheet here

Q: My leveling jacks are making a popping noise, what can be done?
A: See Here on how to add Anti-Stiction Fluid

Q: My leveling jack leg is slowly creeping down?
A: If you notice this occurring, you can verify that the jack leg cartridge valve set screw is properly seated.  If not, this could potentially allow fluid transfer and unwanted jack movement.  Using a 5/32” Allen wrench turn the set screw counterclockwise to ensure it is snug, not hard. Over-tightening the set screw can damage the valve.  Then cycle the landing gear.  The valves for the rear and mid jack legs are located on the bottom of the hydraulic manifold and the valve for the front jacks is located on the off-door side jack inside the propane bottle access door.

Q: One of my hydraulic hoses has a leak, how can I get it repaired?
A: A hydraulic hose leak can be repaired at your dealership service center, however if this happens and you need immediate assistance with the repair to get your RV functional again then contacting a mobile service provider is a good option.  Some mobile RV technicians have the expertise and equipment to repair a hydraulic hose, however if they are unable then calling a specialty service provider is needed. PIRTEK USA Hydraulic and Industrial Hose Service specializes in hose repair and has extensive coverage.  This service provider is very capable in making repairs to your RV’s hydraulic hose system.  Click here to find one of their mobile service technicians near you.
