As we here at Alliance RV close the books on 2021, we're excited to bring your our first quarterly digital newsletter. We want to give you an update on where we are as a company and talk a little bit about our plans for 2022. Our success in 2021 is owed to our team members and all of our Allies. There is never a good time for a service need to arise and we understand the frustration that comes with that. Whether it’s user error, component failure, manufacturer error, or other…it’s important to our Alliance team that you can get answers and resolutions in as timely a manner as possible.
As Alliance RV continues to grow, we are investing in resources that allow us to maintain the high level of engagement and accessibility that our Allies deserve. Our retail support team (aka Customer Experience Managers) is one of those resources. Now up to 6 members strong, this teams primary focus is to respond to customer inquiries ranging from technical support or service needs to simple how-to guidance for modifications. When hiring our Customer Experience Managers, we have taken a unique approach focused on their passion for taking care of customers, rather than on technical ability alone. With this, we are finding team members from outside of the RV industry that bring a fresh approach to customer service. Our most recent addition is a great example as she previously managed a 911 call center. Her ability to take what could be a tense situation and turn it into a positive experience has proven to be a wonderful fit for the customer centric culture we are building here at Alliance.
Who believes more in our mission than someone who actually purchased and Alliance RV. In May of this year Rob Boyer (Paradigm 370FB Owner and Certified RV Technician) joined the A-Team as our Service Liaison. Coining the popular phrase of “Owner Empowerment”, Rob is helping develop a national service network that our team can draw from, along with creating owner empowerment videos and tech tips designed to empower our Allies. Long time RVer, Jim Beletti (Paradigm 340RL Owner) joined the A-Team in August as our Customer Experience Liaison. Jim has launched and is managing the Alliance RV Owners Forum as another communication channel for the Alliance community. He is also assisting with rally planning, as the overwhelming success of past rallies has us estimating 250+ units (500+ attendees) for the upcoming 2022 Elkhart Rally.
As we continue to invest in new ways to enhance the RV ownership experience, there is an increasing array of resources available to you. So where do you begin?

I’m very excited about the launch of our newsletter and wanted to provide you with a little background about what the Owner Empowerment effort is and how it came to be. My wife Yvonne and I joined the FamAlly back in Jan 2020 as owners of a 370FB that we full-time in after retiring from the Air Force in 2019. Having been a mechanic and hands-on person my whole life I decided to go through RV Technician certification, so I’d be better equipped for life on the road. After starting my own mobile RV repair business, I found that many of the issues I was getting called out for were within the capability of the RV owner if only they had just a little guidance on what to look for.
In my experience, most people that RV are hands-on and willing to learn more about their RV and how it works. How much the manufacturer is willing to help with this certainly varies. This is a huge reason I love Alliance RV and why I work for them today. Since the first day we got our coach and before going to RV Technician school the team at Alliance RV had a true willingness to help me understand our coach. They enabled me to fix simple items myself and gain confidence increasing our ownership experience.
Based on our ownership experience and my RV technician experience, I approached and offered the team at Alliance a simple phrase that I thought would be helpful…“Owner Empowerment”.
So, what is Owner Empowerment then? It is the effort to enhance an owner’s knowledge of their coach to increase their satisfaction, confidence, and overall enjoyment of the camping experience.
As they say, the rest is history! Since joining the A-Team this past summer one of my roles is to help create Owner Empowerment content for you! If you have not had the opportunity, please visit our YouTube channel and Owner’s Forum where you will find helpful videos and tips about your Alliance RV coach.
What can you expect from our Owner Empowerment efforts going forward? In this newsletter we will have a column discussing topics as well as more helpful videos on our YouTube channel, and more quick Tech Tips. In addition, during our 2022 National Rally in May we will hold seminars on topics to help you understand your coach systems and increase your enjoyment and confidence. Hello Allies! As a seasoned RVer and happy owner of a Paradigm 340RL, I'm pleased to be on the A-Team as your Owner Experience Liaison.
With the very active presence Alliance already has on Facebook/Instagram, one of my first charges has been to develop an online forum that opens up an additional line of communication for the Alliance community. Monitored by myself and other A-Team members, this forum provides a place to talk technically amongst other Allies (and future Allies), learn more about Alliance products, find and share solutions, tips and tricks, share RV and RVing information with each other and more. And with a great “search” feature, finding specific topics of interest is very simple.
In addition to being a great place to have technical discussions, the forum also serves as a central location for the large number of Alliance RV Tech Tips, owners manuals, component manuals, guides, tip documents and more. To make it easy to find, all of this material is carefully organized in the Resources section of the forum.
Events section of the forum is used to announce upcoming Alliance RV related events, such as rallies, camp-outs and RV shows – so check the Events space often. Speaking of rallies, check-out this thread to learn more about our 2022 National Rally next May in Indiana.
